Waking up next to you is not a blessing
It’s not an honor
It’s not a gift
See there’s no true word to describe waking up in your midst
Your presence delivers an essence I can’t define
My tongue twists and my brain break when I think of how to declare the beautiful sight of your face in the morning light
Oh how I go through my day missing that beautiful sight
And when I go to sleep,
You are the last thing I think of
So that when I wake, and see your face, my enthusiasm returns
There’s no way to describe that feeling,
Naw not in words
You just have too much too offer
From your smile, to your eyes, to your soft skin , to your thighs, to your imagination, to you spontaneity
To your life
I wish I knew how to describe what you are in words.
But that wouldn’t be enough
