She was light, blinding the eyes that accidentally gazed her way
steering away from the meeks that couldn’t stay long enough to be encased in her sun
blessing everyone that decided to be radiated by her heat
there was no darkness that could take away her shine
no entity that could dampen her warm, radiant life
too mighty to be pounced on by hyenas scavenging for the next bite,
too regal to be conquered by any jesters seeking to be kings of her castle
too focused on her life, and giving out gems to each and everybody
she was a queen, and too bright to be dampened by me
