Black history holds an integral part of History throughout the world. A history often forgotten and lost in the scribes of time. Hearing today we recollect the long-forgotten history that is often overshadowed by events in time. Here is today in black history.

on this day in 1945, Ebony magazine published its first article it’s sold over 250,000 copies. It is the 74th anniversary of Ebony magazine and next year in 2020 will be it’s 75th. Ebony magazine is a highly celebrated magazine featuring many celebrities and their events throughout black history. It is long and thriving today and stare was being viewed by many viewers throughout the world.

On this day in 1910, W.E.B Dubois co-founds the NAACP publication Crisis. The remaining co-founders were Oswald Garrison Villard, J. Max Barber, Charles Edward Russell, Kelly Miller, William Stanley Braithwaite, and Mary Dunlop Maclean.
